Hi, I'm Kadi, camp kid, a cappella singer, Jewish educator, marathon runner, and someone who almost always has dye on her hands.

I grew up in the South Bay, went to UCLA, and then did what wildflowers do... I picked up and planted somewhere new. A year in Israel, then ten years in Chicago, where I built a life and a community I loved deeply. And then, as many stories go, I fell for someone who lived in Hermosa Beach, right next to where I grew up, and eventually found myself back where it all began. I've been home for two years now, and I'm still planting roots.

Crafted by Kadi started during the pandemic. I was missing camp, so like so many of us, I set up a tie-dye station in my kitchen and started making cloudy tie-dye sweatshirts for friends. They loved them. Their friends wanted some. And somewhere between the custom orders and the dye-stained countertops, I decided to open an Etsy shop. After a couple years of busy Hanukkah seasons, in 2025 I finally sold at some in person holiday markets and LOVED it. It was so fun to meet my customers in person! I also loved being that one table of representation in a world that can be solely focused on all the other winter holidays. Younger Kadi was so proud and would have been so excited to see a booth of vibrant, Jewish Joy at these holiday markets.

In my other world, I’ve spent over a decade in Jewish education. Much of my adult life has been dedicated to creating social and educational programs that build relationships and foster inclusive spaces where students can explore their Jewish identity. At the heart of it all is connection and one of my favorite ways to build it has always been through arts and crafts, simply spending time together, creating.

Now I make tees, onesies, and sweatshirts for the whole family and bring mobile playshops directly to you, for kids, adults, and everyone in between. I show up with everything you need and leave you with an experience that's deeply joyful and fun.
